Red narrowboat on canal taken at Hatton Locks, Warwickshire with camera group Workshops are designed primarily for digital camera users. We take take time examining the theory of photography relevant to the workshop, then we move into the practical application - this is why they are ‘Photography Workshops’ rather than photography courses. They have aims and expected learning outcomes so that you know what you will be going away with but they are also fun, challenging, offer the opportunity to experiment with techniques, and to take images for your own or potentially your business use, depending on the workshop which you attend.

Springtime snowdrops covered in dew amongst green grass Dark night sky with bright moon and silhouette of trees Workshops are generally for a maximum of 8 candidates to give everyone opportunity to review and assess their images taken during the Workshop.

I also offer One2One Photography Workshop sessions which are arranged on an individual basis. These can cover a general subject such as ‘understanding and using your camera’ or more specific topics such as ‘macro photography’. To discuss One2One Photography Workshops, please contact me.

I also run an photography group called ‘Camera Buddies’. We offer a supportive and non-competitive environment in which to expand our knowledge of general camera operations and functions as well as how to create better images through the use of light, composition and other photography basics. To read more about ‘Camera Buddies’ please look at the page dedicated to this photography group which can be found here: Camera Buddies Information

Camera group taking photographs in woods with bluebells I am often asked if young people under the age of 16 years old can attend our workshops or other training. Those under 16 years old must be accompanied by their parent or guardian over 18 years of age on a ratio of one adult to one child. Registration onto the workshop needs to be completed by the parent or guardian. We are able to offer special Workshop rates for parents accompanied by their child or teenager.
