Nursery and Pre-school Photography - Specialist Service
The best Nursery and Pre-school photography takes patience, understanding, gentle persuasion & a little time. Sally has all of these and uses them to great effect, capturing fabulous photos which parents love. Even the most reticent of nursery pupils usually succumbs to the antics and charm of puppet Freddie the Frog!
During 2010, the sales of photos have resulted in a 94% uptake from parents purchasing photos from Nursery School Photography service with average sales of £23.50 per sale (siblings were most often purchased as one sale).
We offer two services which are very popular with nurseries and parents alike: the Contemporary School Portrait Photography Service and the Traditional School Portrait Photography Service.
The Contemporary School Portrait Service uses our white backgrounds and more modern posing techniques - parents of younger children particularly seem to appreciate this style of photography as it gives pupils an opportunity to be more comfortable, and to move around a little, which shows in their expressions! Parents can be offered a multiple-image proof card with this service which gives more choice of the images which they may wish to purchase of their child.
The Traditional School Portrait Service can use a choice of backgrounds - white & shades of blue are our most popular - and is based around the more traditional ‘Head and Shoulders’ style of portrait. This tends to be more popular with larger pre-schools, Senior Schools & Colleges.
Sibling photographs are arranged with prior notice so they can be taken before the start of the school day.
Our School Portrait Photography Service also offers Class, Sports Team, Awards, and Graduation photographs.
Generous commission on sales are given on all our School Portrait Photography Services.
We only provide excellent quality prints and products for parents to purchase. There are many print packages and products available as well as the option to purchase digital image files. We can often lend schools a set of samples for the time during which parents have to choose their purchases from the proof cards. This is just one small way in which we can add extra value to our School Portrait Photography service - and something parents appreciate.
We have recently also arranged for a Family Photography day as a PTA fundraising event for a local school. This proved highly popular with families looking for an opportunity for a mini-session of photography and the school PTA received a welcome boost to their funds. We would consider offering this service to other local schools and would be more than happy to discuss this with you.
